Practicum in Diagnosis of Reading Difficulties, Grades K-6

Demand 3 Credit Hours This course is a practicum in teaching individual students with reading difficulties in grades K- 6. Assessment of the reader’s strengths and needs is followed by the implementation of individualized instruction designed to assist the child in becoming a better reader. The course will include practice in administering, interpreting, and reporting diagnostic test results of reading assessments. Emphasis will be focused on developmentally appropriate instruction based on testing results. Prerequisite: EDUC 0609 or concurrent enrollment
