School Supervision and Managerial Leadership in K12 School Administration

Catalog description

Fall 3 Credit Hours Introduces students to operating and managing school systems, overseeing personnel, and ensuring equitable and strategic use of fiscal and non-fiscal resources. This course focuses on the role of supervision as it pertains to the improvement of instruction and management of time, personnel, resources. Forty hours of internship are built into the course, including mandatory required activities under the guidance of a qualified local area Cooperating Administrator. Prerequisite: Approval by advisor
