Catalog description

Fall & Spring 3 Credit Hours Teaches an understanding of individual and group motivation and behavior to create a learning environment that encourages active engagement in learning, positive social interaction, and self-motivation. Current theory will be investigated to devise strategies for a proactive approach to managing student behavior, immediate responses to classroom situations, and long-term maintenance of a positive learning environment. Course includes a 13-hour practicum. To be taken concurrently with EDUC 0329 and EDUC 0321
