Advanced Communication Practicum

Fall, Spring & Summer 1 Credit Hour The advanced practicum course is a laboratory experience working in the University newspaper, broadcast media, or public relations. Students will work for a minimum of five hours per week in positions of significant responsibilities. May be repeated for a maximum of six hours of credit. Prerequisite: COMM 220 or consent of instructor. Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing; media courses to prepare student adequately for work expected; COMM 0220 or permission. For TV: COMM 0320 - Advanced Video Production or COMM 0431 - Media Production , for Crossroads: COMM 0335 - Feature Writing . May be repeated for a maximum of six hours of credit
