Fall, Spring 3 Credit Hours Structure and function of proteins (including enzymes), carbohydrates, lipids, membranes, and nucleic acids with emphasis on both chemical and physiological aspects of these compounds. Three lectures per week. Prerequisite: CHEM 0301 (Organic Chemistry I) with a grade of “C” or better. Three lectures per week. Prerequisite: CHEM 0302 with a grade of ‘C’ or better
