Catalog description
Fall & Spring 3 Credit Hours Beginning studio course that introduces the basic material, equipment, and processes of fine art jewelry and metalsmithing. Construction techniques for non-ferrous metals and associated materials such as sewing, riveting, soldering, forming, basic stone setting, and surface embellishment are employed to create small scale functional and/or non-functional objects. Six studio hours per week. Prerequisite: ART 0103 or approval of instructor
