This Communication Emphasized course studies complex moral issues concerning our relationship to the environment and the ethical foundations of our environmental responsibilities. Discussion topics may include: conservation, resource development, pollution, toxic substances, future generations, the built environment, endangered species, and the unequal distribution of environmental harms and protections.
