Catalog description

Introduction to common biostatistical methods for designing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, with application to problems originating from the biological, environmental, and health sciences. Topics include randomization, means comparisons, ANOVA, regression, and analysis of count data. Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or better in Math 1120, Math 1140, Math 1210, Math 1211, Math 1212, or Math 1214; or by placement.
