Catalog description

A survey course in statistics for the social and behavioral sciences. Main emphasis is on inductive rather than traditional descriptive statistics. Attention given to the design of experiments, sampling procedures, basic probability distributions, tests of significance, linear regression and correlation, and analysis of variance.
