A broad range of topics are covered including the 1) History of therapeutic and recreational drug use and abuse 2) Consequences of drug abuse and addiction 3) Behavioral, psychological, and physiological effects of drugs 4) Research methods used to study drugs 5) Effective treatments for drug problems. Prerequisites: Psych 1101.
