Catalog description

Principles of psychology relevant to the field of education. Course covers theoretical and applied information on such topics as human growth and development, and cognitive and behavioral views of learning and intelligence. The course also covers motivation, creation of learning environments, measurement and evaluation of learning. Prerequisite: Either Psych 1101 (psychology majors) or Educ 1074 (teacher education program). (Co-listed with Educ 2102).
