Catalog description

Prospective basin evaluation for geoscience graduate students. An industry dataset will be analyzed using geological, geophysical, and engineering methods and software. Students will analyze and interpret well logs, interpret 3D seismic datasets, integrate knowledge from literature, and construct a 3D geomodel for volumetric estimations. Prerequisites: Geology 5513, Geophys 4231, Pet Eng 3330; consent of instructor.
