Climate Change and Society

Catalog description

A study of the fundamentals of Earth’s climate, the major components of Earth’s climate systems, and the factors that drive climate change. Students will describe historical and future climate changes and understand and analyze climate history data to assess their validity. Students will also analyze the impact of climate change on global society and judge the anomalous character of recent climate change and discuss solutions to the current climate crisis.
