Observation and Assessment of Young Children

Catalog description

Students will discuss the purpose, benefits, and uses of informal and formal assessments of children. Students will practice interpreting and communicating assessment results while maintaining confidentiality. Assessment results will be used to plan developmentally appropriate curriculum. Students will administer an observation assessment in the field. Prerequisites: Educ 1074 or Educ 1055.
