Catalog description
A discussion of a large numer of synthetically useful reactions involving enolates and enamines; nucleophilic additions to carbonyl compounds; functional group interconversions, thermal pericyclic reactions; organometallic compounds; carbocations, carbenes and free radicals as reactive intermediates; aromatic substitutions; and multistep synthesis. Prerequisite: Chem 4210 or Chem 4220.
