Catalog description

Pharmacotherapy V is designed to develop the student’s ability to assess patients and provide pharmaceutical care. The course focuses on learning drug characteristics of commonly prescribed medications and developing and applying problem-solving strategies for complex illnesses commonly encountered in pharmacy practice. Students are expected to identify and assess medical and medication-related problems, recommend drug therapy, and monitor for safe and effective drug use.
