Catalog description

Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) give students the opportunity to mature professionally, secure the breadth and depth of experiences needed to achieve curricular outcomes, and explore various sectors of practice. Students complete a total of nine APPE through a combination of required and elective experiences. Required experiences include the following settings: health systems pharmacy, advanced community pharmacy, acute patient care, and ambulatory patient care. Students may repeat required rotations as electives if space is available or may approach a preceptor to tailor an elective experience to develop an area of interest. Faculty preceptors may add site-specific objectives as indicated.
