Catalog description

The purpose of the Career Planning and Personal Development course is to engage students in career opportunities in a variety of areas including industry, health systems, clinical, community, government, academia, specialty, and managed care settings. Pharmacy opportunities are explored through readings, lecture, discussion, guest speakers, and student exploration. Topics include understanding career opportunities, achieving one’s professional goals, and designing a path to accomplish career objectives to form a professional identity.
