Catalog description

This course introduces pharmacy students to the foundational issues and opportunities in rural health. Topics covered include rural health disparities, social determinants of health, mental health, public health infrastructure, and the pharmacist’s role in these settings. The course will also explore collaborative and interprofessional roles in rural health improvement.
