Catalog description

This class will provide students with the opportunity to explore a career as either a pharmacy technician or pharmacist. Multiple career pathways for pharmacists will be discussed. Students will also gain knowledge of medical terminology, the history of pharmacy, over-the-counter and prescription medications, pharmacy calculations, compounding techniques, and pharmacy law.
