Catalog description

This course is the second in a two-semester series designed to provide nurse anesthesia students with the knowledge of pathophysiology of various disease states and their anesthesia implications. This course includes a review of the perioperative anesthetic management of patients with common and rare diseases. The anesthetic implications of special patient populations, including pediatric, obstetric, and elderly patients will be reviewed.
