Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive review of anesthesia practice in preparation for the National Certification Examination (NCE). Content includes normal physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacologic principles relevant to anesthetic management across all organ systems. Anesthetic techniques for a wide range of surgical procedures and disease states are examined, with emphasis on the integration of scientific knowledge, professional standards, and clinical judgment. The course also addresses effective strategies to enhance NCE performance.
