Catalog description

This course is designed to increase the clinical expertise of the student through implementation and outcome evaluation of an evidence-based practice project in a specific area of focus. This course builds on previous coursework and incorporates a systematic approach in the integration of evidence into practice to improve healthcare. The course is self-directed allowing students to focus on their specific clinical interests and area of expertise, DNP project paper, manuscript creation, dissemination plans, and self-reflection on accomplishment of the DNP essentials. This course consists of 2 didactic and 1 clinical credit hour.
