Catalog description

This course will provide students with the opportunity to apply knowledge from previous graduate courses to advanced psychiatric mental health care of patients across the lifespan. The focus is to demonstrate refined advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills in clinical practice as appropriate in areas of specialization related to multiple disease processes in the care of patients across the lifespan. This practice will be based on the application of evidence in the biophysical, psychosocial, behavioral, sociopolitical, cultural, economic, interprofessional practice and nursing science arenas.
