Catalog description

This course is designed to increase the clinical expertise of the student through implementation of an evidence-based practice project in a specific area of focus to improve healthcare. Students will collaborate with a site for project execution. This course builds on a systematic approach to incorporate evidence into practice and is designed to be self-directed, allowing the student to focus on their specific clinical interests and area of expertise. This course includes manuscript creation, presentation, and self-reflection on accomplishment of DNP essentials. This course consists of 1 didactic and 4 clinical credit hours.
