Catalog description

This course builds a foundational framework for nurse anesthesia practice. Students will integrate pharmacology, physiology, physics, and clinical principles to support safe anesthesia care. Emphasis is placed on medication management, patient monitoring, anesthesia equipment, airway management and fluid and blood therapy. Lecture content is reinforced through simulation-based learning experiences that prepare students for clinical residency courses.
