Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a systematic approach to appraise evidence, research, and guidelines used in practice. The course builds on evidence-based practice strategies; theoretical foundations; ethical, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. This course also includes teamwork with communication skills, quality improvement processes, scientific methods, policy and economic considerations, improvement outcome evaluations, and statistical analyses. In addition, the student will further develop an evidence-based approach to address a healthcare problem.
