Catalog description

This course focuses on the principles of, and complex relationships between, cost, efficiency, effectiveness and health care quality outcomes. Economic perspectives and needs from industry, organizations, providers and consumers will be examined. Throughout the course, issues regarding the inextricable link between cost and quality within the complex healthcare environment will be examined and addressed, with emphasis on DNP nurse intervention and leadership.
