Catalog description

In this course, the management of mental health problems will expand beyond the individual to include families, groups and the greater community. Special attention will be given to illnesses occurring in childhood and older age. Theoretical foundations in individuals, group and family therapies will be explored and psychotherapy skills for the advanced practice nurse will be developed.
