Catalog description

The course covers the process of exploring, structuring, and cleaning data for analysis, a critical, under-appreciated part of the analytics process. Students will learn foundational data and analytics concepts with a particular focus on data management through examples and application. They will also learn how to use some of the leading analytic and AI-augmented tools to perform data wrangling and analytic tasks and increase their understanding of the ways those tasks are performed in today’s data-driven business environment.
