Catalog description

This course teaches an overview of the civil RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) act, which is one of the most widely litigated statutes in civil cases today. The course takes an “element by element” approach to provide a comprehensive survey of the RICO statute and will emphasize how to draft a civil RICO claim and a motion to dismiss a civil RICO claim.
