Catalog description
This course provides a substantial lawyering experience for students in government law offices (executive agencies or legislative offices) working on active matters that include advising or direct representation, under the supervision of a licensed attorney. The student’s work will include multiple opportunities for performance of legal skills, feedback, guided reflection, and self-critique. In most instances this course will be paired with a companion seminar. The supervising attorney, student, and faculty advisor sign a three-way agreement defining their respective roles and responsibilities at the beginning of the semester.
