Catalog description

Course content includes an introduction to mental constructs and thinking about legal research problems, exercises in how to work problems, working with various “problem types,” exercises to understand the terrain of legal research resources based on the characteristics of such resources, building a library for particular legal specialties, building a three-dimensional map of legal research resources based on their fundamental characteristics, aligning problem types with the best resources and techniques, exercises in the legal research process, and concludes with a “Pathfinder” on a subject withing a legal field of the student’s choosing.
