Catalog description

The Summer Conference in Health Professions Education provides an opportunity for second year students in the Master's in Health Professions Education program to design, deliver and assess a one day, 'mini' conference for area health professions educators. Students will work collaboratively, under faculty guidance, to design objectives, organize resources, develop timelines, publicize, deliver and evaluate a conference designed to reflect a particular theme in health professions education. The conference will consist of educational research presentations, hands-on, skill-based workshops, consultations, and literature/resource dissemination. It will serve to showcase student accomplishments and skills and be open to the public.
