Catalog description

This course is designed to familiarize students with the creation of successful, high-value enterprises, with an emphasis on markets for technology and venture capital. Students identify a business opportunity, create a technology-based solution, and assess the commercial and technological viability of the business opportunity. Case studies will emphasize life sciences, engineering, and/or information technologies.
