Catalog description

Principles of Macroeconomics deals primarily with macroeconomic or national economic concepts, the economics of the determination of recession, inflation, maintenance of full employment and economic growth, with an emphasis upon the economics of modern Keynesian analyses. It further introduces the economics of Marx and Ayres and discusses relevant and current economic issues. ECON 201 and ECON 202 are prerequisites for most other economics courses.
