Catalog description

Students will apply skills and didactic knowledge learned in previous lecture and lab courses to a clinical setting. Students will perform dental procedures in a clinic-based project to further enhance their clinical skills. The students will have multiple patient-based experiences, which may include recall exams, oral health risk screenings, prophylaxis, and operative procedures. This course will prepare the student to transition to patient care.
