Clinical Decision Making in Dentistry Credits: 1-2

Catalog description

An experiential course that uses current controversies to facilitate development of skills needed for making valid decision in clinical dentistry. Students will apply basic principles of database searching, research design and methodology to the critical analysis of contemporary dental literature. This one-hour course will: 1) Provide the student with training to perform successfully on the portions of the national boards that deal with research design and methodology; and , 2) give the student skills sufficient to search for, locate, and evaluate valid information related to clinical questions in contemporary dentistry.
