Catalog description

This is a course geared to the biomedical foundation knowledge of dental students. The course is composed of six sections focused on clinically important topic areas each culminating with a clinical presentation. Course content will intentionally emphasize new knowledge areas in cancer, inflammation, genetic diseases, metabolic diseases, mineralized tissues in health and disease, oral health, hormone action, and blood coagulation/wound healing.
