Catalog description

Designed for the general University student with little or no music background (non-music majors). An emphasis on the basic elements of music and the historical and stylistic periods, illustrated by examples from different genre, such as instrumental and vocal ensembles, large and small, solo literature for voice and instruments, and dance. This course is offered as an online asynchronous course.
