A systematic introduction to the physical and electronic sources of chemical information and literature, and their efficient use, is presented. Both classical and computer informational search methods will be addressed, and selected topics in the history of chemistry and technology, the development of chemical and physical theory, intellectual property, and the philosophy of science may be included.
