Catalog description

This course in the Human Structure Function series specifically covers blood, autonomic, pulmonary, and cardiovascular systems. It is sequenced so that a single organ system may be examined from five disciplines (anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, and embryology). The Human Structure Function series provides a foundation in basic science and clinical medicine that when combined with the next series of courses in the curriculum (Neuroscience, Pathology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology) will prepare students to become a well-informed clinician capable of solving problems in human biology and health.
