Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the legal and regulatory constraints that govern the design and construction of the built environment, focusing on the protection of public health, safety, and general welfare. Students will develop a working knowledge of building codes, such as the International Building Code, zoning ordinances, and accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
