Introduction to Dance

Introduction to Dance Movement is an introductory dance class designed for the student with little or no prior dance experience. The course may cover dance improvisation, ballet, modern, jazz and musical theatre dance techniques- specifically western dance forms. This is primarily a movement-based course. Brief lectures and class discussion will address a variety of dance related subjects such as music for dance, basic anatomy for dance and how to view dance. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3
