Catalog description
The course is meant to be an introductory experience to Orthopedic Surgery with specific exposure to hand surgery. The student will be actively involved in clinic, in-patient care, and the operating room. The student will learn the basic presentation, evaluation, and management of adult patients with common hand problems, such as carpal tunnel, fractures, tendon injuries, and trigger fingers. Credit Hour s : 2 Prerequisites: Successful completion of the first two years of medical school
