Catalog description

The course is meant to be an introductory experience to Orthopedic Surgery with specific exposure to adult reconstruction. The student will be actively involved in clinic, in-patient care, and the operating room. The student will learn the basic presentation, evaluation, and management of adult patients with common orthopedic problems, such as hip and knee arthritis. Credit Hour s : 2 Prerequisites: Successful completion of the first two years of medical school
