Catalog description

Students will enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitudes about patient-centered care through active participation in direct patient care activities while under the supervision of a faculty preceptor. Students will integrate previously acquired knowledge and concepts and apply them to the care and management of patients. Credit Hour s : 5 Recommended: Successful completion of 5 of 7 core clerkships, including the Surgery clerkship. Additional department specific pre-requisites may apply
