Introduction to Radiology

Catalog description

This two week elective will provide students with exposure to chest and body imaging (1 week per area). They will participate in 2-3 didactic sessions focused on the basics of radiology and imaging that is important to all fields of medicine, as well as video lectures one day a week along with the upperclassmen that are doing their 4 week elective at that time. Videos present a case based learning plan involving common emergent situations that may be encountered during their clinical training. Credit Hour s : 2 Prerequisites: successful completion of the first two years of medical school
