Catalog description
This course provides an overview of selected qualitative research designs and methods as applied to nursing and health. Through a combination of theoretical discussions, practical exercises, and case studies, students will gain an understanding of the principles, techniques, and ethical considerations involved in conducting qualitative research. Throughout this course we will evaluate the implications of qualitative research designs and methods when considering whose voice is present, whose voice is missing, and whose voices should be included. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites or Corequisites: NURSE 9100 , NURSE 9131 , or instructor's consent required
