Catalog description

This course focuses on experimental and non-experimental quantitative research designs, methods, and analyses used in health research. The merits of various types of quantitative research designs and the sampling methods and data analysis issues specific to those study designs are reviewed. Use of secondary databases will be explored. It is assumed that students have begun to articulate an area of research focus problem and have a working knowledge of the research literature in their area. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites or Corequisites: NURSE 9100 , NURSE 9131 , Intermediate Statistics or instructor's consent required
